1. Boconnoc: 'Penrice'. Aunt Agatha's home and later that of George and Elizabeth.

2. Braddock Church. Where the wedding of Drake and Morwenna was filmed with Winston Graham himself prominent amongst the well-wishers.

3. Towednack Church. The wedding of Francis and Elizabeth was filmed inside Towednack Church whilst the churchyard was where the funeral of Francis's father (Charles) was filmed.

4. i) Demelza's Cave near Seal Hole Cave Grid reference - B4

5.(a) Doyden Point near Port Quin: During the first TV series this was Dwight Enys' house - where Keren Daniel came to visit.

6. 'Trenwith' was the home to Francis and Elizabeth Poldark and later George Warleggan and Elizabeth.

7.(a) Lamorna: Sawle village is a community similar to Lamorna.

9. Lundy Bay area: Warleggan's fences destroyed by Ross Poldark here. Polzeath via Lundy Bay to Port Quin.

10. Mousehole Village: Used for the march of the rebellious miners in the first TV series

11. "Nampara" was two completely different houses. Pendeen Manor Farm and Manor Farm Botallack in the first series, and the exterior of Roscarrock Manor Farm near Port Quin, a 17th century manor and farm in the second series.

12. Pendeen & Lelant : 'Nampara Cove' is the fictional name of this beautiful area; a series of cliffs and inlets being used to represent the Cove.

13. Portholland: 'Roscoff' in the TV series.

14. Porthluney Beach: Used to dramatic effect at the beginning of the second TV series with Ross Poldark galloping across the beach. This is also the beach where Drake, Morwenna and Geoffrey Charles walked and explored the caves.

15. Roscarrock Manor Farm: Situated approximately a couple of miles inland from Port Quin it was used extensively as "Nampara" for a number of scenes in the second BBC series, particularly Sawle Fair. Click here for more information.

16. St Enodoc Church: Where the filming of the wedding between Rowella Chynoweth and Arthur Solway took place.

17. St Winnow's Church: The wedding of Dwight Enys with Caroline Penvenen was filmed here.

18. Sandbar at Porthcurno: Scene of Demelza's landing by boat in the books although the strong tidal currents made filming too dangerous so an alternative was used near Prussia Cove. The final sequence of the first series with Ross and Demelza running together along the beach was also filmed here.
